| Become an Animal Rescue Center volunteer! |
| Animal Rescue Center’s most precious assets are its volunteers!
If you are a dedicated, compassionate person who adores and values animals, you will find a home with Animal Rescue Center. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available, from walking dogs to assisting with our spay/neuter program. We also need help in our administrative office - a great way for those who love animals, but have an allergy or disability, to help! And in case you enjoy matchmaking, adoption counseling might be right up your alley. Come talk with us!

| Becoming a Volunteer! |
| If you are 18 years of age or older, just fill out our Volunteer application, or call 602-867-9720. We do not require a specific time commitment and have many volunteers who just “stop by” to visit with one of our dogs or cats.

| Current Volunteer Openings |
| Adoptions: Help match people and pets at our shelter or our off-site adoption locations any day of the week that works for you. |
| Dog Walkers: Help the dogs at our shelter get outside of their kennels for exercise and play time - any day of the week and time of day that works for you. |
| Foster Care Program: Provide care in your home for special-needs animals. Mommy cats and kittens, kittens without mommies (bottle feeders or kittens too young for adoption), Mommy dogs and puppies, or orphaned pups, or dogs or cats with healing injuries… these are just a few of the animals that need TLC in your home. |
| Groomers: Whether you are a professional groomer or just know how to give a bath, many of our new residents need a make-over. Nothing makes a dog feel better than a good bath and brushing. Many of our cats and kittens love the attention. Well - the kitties can do without the water part, but do love to be brushed! |
| Donation Collection: We are desperate for volunteer drivers to pick up things people would love for us to have but cannot bring themselves. All you need is a car that runs and some time on your hands. Oh... and a driver's license! |
| Surgery assisting: Do you have an interest in medicine, but never had the chance to learn before? Never fear, you still have a chance. Come help us on our spay/neuter van. We will teach you everything you need to know. |
| Administrative Assistant: We need a lot of help in our office doing filing, mailing, data entry and making phone calls. Maybe not the most glamorous of the jobs we have to offer, but very very important to us. |
